The Georgia Society of Addiction Medicine (GSAM) is now accepting nominations for our GSAM 2025–2027 Committee Volunteers through September 4 at 11:59 PM ET. Your committees play a vital role in shaping GSAM’s strategy and guiding the direction of our chapter.

 This is your opportunity to help shape the future of our chapter by nominating yourself or a colleague for these leadership positions. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about advancing our mission and making a lasting impact on our community.

 The individuals you nominate will represent you and serve as the voice of addiction medicine in Georgia. To assist in your decision, the Committee Roles and Responsibilitiesare included in the online ballot.

• Membership Committee
• Website Committee

Nomination Period:
August 21, 2025 – September 4, 2025

Qualifications to apply:

• Possesses the ability to inspire a shared vision for the mission of the organization.
• Has demonstrated energy, commitment, and support for Society’s mission.
• Must be willing to devote the necessary time to fulfilling the responsibilities of the Office.

Term:

The term of office will begin on October 1, 2025.

• A brief bio (200 words or less)
